Ventilation control - For more operating comfort

The easy way to operate hard-to-reach ventilators.

Hard-to-reach ventilation units – such as those near the ceiling – can be operated conveniently from the wall using the SIEGENIA ventilation control as an external control unit. Suitable for the AEROPLUS WRG wall-mounted ventilator and the AEROMAT VT facade ventilation system, it combines easy operation with useful additional features which facilitate everyday ventilation. Equipped with sensors, in automatic mode it provides an exchange of air as and when required or activates night cooling. Extra precise and optimised ventilation is possible with the sensor version. This is equipped with an integrated temperature and humidity sensor as well as a CO₂ sensor. With the help of these two sensors, the control unit measures air quality exactly where it is installed in the room.

The SIEGENIA ventilation control enables synchronous control of up to nine ventilation units – perfect for large rooms and open-plan living areas. The control unit specifies the mode of operation and air throughput for the master unit. The master unit in turn provides feedback on status, air quality, etc. Up to eight additional ventilators can be connected to the master unit as secondary units.

Product benefits

  • Control of up to 9 ventilation units
  • Status displayed using LEDs, incl. indication of the air quality using the traffic light system
  • Ventilation control sensor: integrated temperature, humidity and CO₂ sensors
  • Compatible ventilation units: AEROPLUS WRG wall-mounted ventilator, AEROMAT VT facade ventilation system, except AEROMAT VT D variant
  • Simple wall installation

The ventilation control is powered by the ventilation unit; an additional power supply is not required. For connection, SIEGENIA provides SI bus cables in different cable lengths (1-m length, 2-m length and 3-m length), which function according to the plug-and-play principle. In addition, an optional extension cable with the length of 2 m and a Y adapter cable are available for connecting several devices.

Depending on the ventilation unit and number of devices, different cables are required for the connection, so please note the following information!

Ventilation control for the AEROPLUS WRG

To connect the ventilation control (sensors) to the AEROPLUS WRG, you need an SI bus cable to connect the ventilation unit to the ventilation control.

The AEROMAT WRG PLUS comes with one cable input and one cable output. The first device is connected using a connection cable, which connects the ventilation control unit to the wall-ventilator. A second ventilator can be connected via the cable output using a second SI bus cable.

Please note that an additional connection cable is required for each additional AEROPLUS WRG that is to be connected.

Ventilation control for the AEROMAT VT

To connect the ventilation control (sensors), you need a connection cable to connect the ventilation control to the connection cable of the AEROMAT VT. The AEROMAT VT is delivered with a Y adapter cable approx. 20 cm long. Please note, that you need to select the connection via SI bus cable in the configuration of your device!

Please note that you will need 1 additional connection cable for each further ventilator that is to be connected!
